Garrison True played the role of an unnamed security guard in TOS: "The Man Trap".

He began his Hollywood career with appearances in Petticoat Junction in 1964 as Henry Brewster, and had scattered appearances in various other television series until the mid-1990s, including a number of episodes of General Hospital in 1981 as Hal Tomlinson. He has also worked as a casting director and as a dialog coach in a number of television mini-series, made for television feature films, episodic television and theatrical motion pictures.

The Star Trek Encyclopedia listed him as appearing in "The Corbomite Maneuver" as a background extra, but his scenes were either cut, or the information is false.

Currently, he is working as an acting teacher in Simi Valley, California.
