Gamma Tauri IV was the fourth planet in the Gamma Tauri system. This planet was the location of an unmanned Federation monitoring post, from which the Ferengi stole a T-9 energy converter in 2364. The theft was recorded on automatic scanners. (TNG: "The Last Outpost")
The planet was shown on a Federation tactical map of the Cardassian border. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
Gamma Tauri IV was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The Gamma Tauri system's primary was a Class G star. It had a magnitude of -1, which was 100 times brighter than Sol. (Star Trek: Star Charts, page 37)
