Gamma II was an uninhabited planet. It was the second planet in the Gamma planetary system. The planet was affiliated with the United Federation of Planets.

Prior to stardate 3211, the Federation installed an automatic communications and astrogation station on this planet. It was located 11.630 light years from M24 Alpha.

In 2268, Captain James T. Kirk, Lieutenant Uhura, and Ensign Pavel Chekov of the USS Enterprise beamed down to this planet to do a standard check when they were abducted by the Triskelions of M24 Alpha. (TOS: "The Gamesters of Triskelion")
