The Gamelan sun
The Gamelan sun was the primary of the Gamelan system. This sun was in a sector which was adjacent to a sector that contained the Pentarus sun.
On Stardate 44307, the starship USS Enterprise-D towed an unoccupied garbage scow out of orbit of inhabited Gamelan V and into the sun to be safely destroyed. (TNG: "Final Mission")
