The Fundamental Declarations of the Martian colonies is an important legal document drafted on the planet Mars during or shortly after the founding of the Martian colonies in 2103. They were an important step in the pursuit of individual rights. In practice, they protected the freedoms of all colonial citizens of Mars, and implemented the secession of Mars from Earth's legal influence. (TOS: "Court Martial")
