Free Haven was a Bajoran colony which came under attack by Breen privateers in 2372. The Breen were repulsed by the USS Defiant. (DS9: "To the Death")
In the original script, the colony was called "Prophet's Haven".
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 46), Free Haven was located in the Free Haven system. This system was located in non-aligned space, in the Alpha Quadrant. The system was a single star system. Primary was a Class K star with a magnitude of +5, which was the same brightness as Sol.
