Fredericks was a Starfleet crewmember, assigned to the USS Enterprise-C under Captain Rachel Garrett.

Fredericks was on board during the battle at Narendra III in 2344, and was presumed lost with the rest of the ship's compliment. Following the Enterprise-C's transport to 2366, Fredericks held the helm for its return through the temporal rift. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise")

Fredericks was played by an unknown actor.
Fredericks' rank was unknown, however, he was wearing the uniform typically seen on crewmen and enlisted personnel.
