Frederick was a Human name.
In 2372, Ensign Samantha Wildman of the USS Voyager was considering the name Frederick for her unborn child, whom she believed to be a boy. The Doctor told her that the name was very distinguished, but also closely resembled an "impolite" term on the Bolian homeworld. Wildman also considered naming the child Cameron, Sural, or Greskrendtregk, after her husband. (VOY: "Dreadnought")
