Frank Bolle (born 7 June 1924; age 88) is an American comic book illustrator. Over the years, he has also illustrated a number of children's books.
He was born in New York City to a parents who were also artists. After serving in the US military during World War II, he attended the Pratt Institute before joining the comics industry in 1948. He worked on a number of series for Magazine Enterprises and Western Publishing, including Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, the Lone Ranger, and Dr. Solar, Man of the Atom.
In the 1960s and 1970s he illustrated a number of children's book series including Encyclopedia Brown. Since then, he has worked on a number of daily strips, including "The Heart of Juliet Jones" for King Features Syndicate.
