Francine Pyne is the actress who played Nancy Crater as she appeared to crewman Darnell in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "The Man Trap".

Pyne had previously appeared in a small role in the "Connery's Hands" episode of Kraft Suspense Theatre, which featured "Where No Man Has Gone Before" guest stars Gary Lockwood and Sally Kellerman. Pyne also made guest appearances on Laredo, Pistols 'n' Petticoats, and It Takes a Thief. Her only known film roles was a bit part in 1964's A House Is Not a Home, co-starring fellow TOS alumni Stanley Adams, Roger C. Carmel, and Michael Forest.

Footage from Pyne's 1966 appearance on the comedy western series Pistols 'n' Petticoats, in which she appeared alongside fellow TOS guest performers Stanley Adams and Morgan Woodward, was later incorporated into the 1967 film The Far Out West.
