I'd like to know what all I'd need to do and such to become administrator, and what my prospects are in that. How often does a user become appointed admin? Thanks in advance. --かなる篠原 14:29, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

You can view information on becoming an Administrator here. Personally, I'd start off contributing to Memory Alpha by editing and creating articles. In general it is expected that a nominee for administratorship be a registered member of the community for at least several months, and to have made several hundred edits to articles. No offense, but it's kind of silly to seriously ask about becoming an administrator with your very first post. -Rhinecanthus rectangulus 15:35, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
I'd also suggest picking a different user name if you are serious about being a contributor. What would we call you? --OuroborosCobra talk 17:33, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
How about "That Guy". That could work until an actual User:That Guy comes along. Or we could just copy/paste かなる篠原 all over the place. For the record, when translated from Japanese into English it reads Kana Shinohara... so we could just call him that. :/ --From Andoria with Love 07:08, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
