I have been visiting MA on two different computers, and on one of them I was able to type in a few letters in the search bar and some possible choices would appear below it without me finishing typing the word.(within MA, not the Windows Autocomplete) On my second computer this does not seem to be happening. Is there a plugin or something that I need to do to my computer to allow this? Thanks for any help you can give. --31dot 21:47, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Go to my preferences, "search", and check the "search suggest" box. It doesn't say it, but I would bet that it requires your computer be running javascript or the java runtime. --OuroborosCobra talk 23:14, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
I think there may be a glitch somewhere. I've always had the "search suggest" box checked and haven't switched computers, but three days ago it just stopped working. -- Bridge 12:17, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
I too had the box checked, and I am pretty sure I have javascript running. --31dot 12:57, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Was there any resolution to this? It still isn't working for me, and it's becoming terribly annoying when you're trying to check if an alternate spelling exists for a link. - Bridge 14:06, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
It still doesn't work for me.--31dot 17:02, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
As an aside, on Firefox, I do not have that checkbox ticked, and I get those offerings. -- Sulfur 17:08, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
