Since there seem to be a lot of Trek dates that are given in our standard Earth time, shouldn't it also include dates that are in-universe? I.e., In 2305, on July 13th - Jean-Luc Picard, captain of the Starship Enterprise-D, was born. Or simply July 13th, 2305 - Jean-Luc Picard is born.
I wouldn't bother with any trivial details like August 19th, 2365 - B'elanna Torres enters the Academy. But big things like births, deaths, major battles, colonizations, etc. Tell me what you think, I believe that it would make a great addition to our already diverse collection of things. It would be nice as an 'at-a-glance' reference, which would suck people into the rest of the articles. -- Kahwless 03:40, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Seems like a good idea to me, though the implementation would be way over my head. - Archduk3:talk 04:13, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think we should mix production and in-universe POVs there - to me, a list containing both actor birthdays, episode first airings and fictional events from the future would look rather fanboyish. Also, I don't think we really have that many specific dates. However, a perfect place for some of the dates we have would be the "Did you know" section, which is updated weekly. -- Cid Highwind 16:37, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
