Dear friends,

first I may apologize for this being a bit off-topic, because it is only slightly touching this Memory Alpha.

During my working on Memory Alpha (and the german was even worse) I have noticed that it is not easy to incorporate the Klingon language, because it is not regarded as being canon according to the policies of MA. For that reason I have set up a proper Klingon Language Wiki into which I'd like to invite you to cooperate.

I'd like to make clear that I do not wish to take your working power, but I'm just announcing that if you like to write about Klingon Grammar and Klingon Language which goes beyond the goals of Memory Alpha, then this is your place to be.

I will remain available for MA anyway, and I will of course set links from the Klingon Language Wiki to the MA as much as possible.

Thanks for your attention, Your Klingon Teacher from Germany

I hate to break it to you, but somebody has already beaten you to it... --| TrekFan Open a channel 09:23, March 31, 2014 (UTC)

I hate to break it to you back, but I know of that wiki, and besides, that one is something entirely different.  ;-)

The wikia tlhIngan mu'ghom is, as the Klingon word says, a Dictionary. The new Wiki that I have set up is a little more, and actually even has no dictionary part at all, so there is no danger of competition. The Klingon Language Wiki is a place to add any kind of information about Klingon grammar, klingon sources, books, people, games etc. - all of that stuff that is not supposed to be on Memory Alpha. On the other hand, the Klingon Language Wiki shall not have any articles about Starships and planets etc, because that is what MA is made for.

No more comments on this?

Reading this, I'm not really sure what comments you are seeking. I don't see a question. 31dot (talk) 11:25, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
