It seems to me that there could be an extensive addition to this community of non-canon articles (I'm referring particularly to official Star Trek novels) that would serve to fill a lot of the inherent gaps in Star Trek Canon. You could easily counteract the confusion by creating some kind of red titlebar or header that informs readers that what they are reading is not canon. The works of Peter David, instead of just as casual references, could be mapped and integrated in the community-- while still being significantly seperate from the canon materials and distinguished from them. Any thoughts?-- Danoz 04:56, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Or, people who want the non-canon stuff can use the Wikia devoted to that, the Non-canon Star Trek Wiki. As it is, we are already one of the largest of the wikias, we are doing just fine. --OuroborosCobra talk 04:59, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

We only allow cannon material here so please do not post your non-cannon materials to this wiki. There is a wiki called Memory Beta which is a non-cannon resource. Please refer to our Cannon policy page for more details. Thank you StoryMaster 21:23, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
