I inadvertantly accessed an article about a character 'Nero' from the star trek film of 2009. As I have not seen the film yet, I was extremely irritated to now know the story of the film. I would SRONGLY recommend that any content that describes the new film be preceeded by a spoiler warning, until the DVD release date has assed for all territories. Otherwise this is a great site. We did have them immediately after the movie was released and for a little while afterwards, but all wikis carry a certain presumption that there could be information about recent or upcoming projects on them.--31dot 11:23, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
Yah, I think we only have spoiler warnings for about a month or so after a production is released or aired. After that, the information is fair game and no longer considered spoilers, meaning those who have not seen the production yet will have to tread carefully. Sorry, but you can't expect spoiler warnings on information that has already been out for five months. My advice would be to check the film or episode cited at the end of the paragraph or article before reading the actual information. You will also want to avoid articles with the "new timeline" template at the top of the page and be cautious of articles with the "multiple realities" template, like the one on Nero's page. That's about all we can do to help; as I said, the movie's been out for five months now, so as far as Memory Alpha is concerned, what happens in the movie is no longer "spoiler" territory. --From Andoria with Love 21:43, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
