The question of sources gnaws at me. Please understand that I am as guilty of this failing as anyone, but I am concerned about the general lack of citation in "real world" articles. Many fans know about the history of Star Trek, so much so that sourcing an article might seem redundant. But if our goal here is to create a comprehensive and credible research work --one that can be used by anyone regardless of their stake in the franchise-- then citation is vital.
- You're right. I believe production POV info needs to be cited just like "in-universe" info. Obviously, we're not restricted to some form of "canon" here, but the source still needs to be reliable in some way. It might be a good idea to have a look at Wikipedia and see what they "allow" or "don't allow" as sources. -- Cid Highwind 20:39, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
