Does anyone know if there's any plans for a new series following on from Voyager? I don't specifically mean a follow up to Voyager but another series in that continuum which I believe is now referred to as Prime. (Hope that makes sense)

There is not. There is always a chance, but with Abrams largely running the franchise now I think he would want to stick with the universe he created and would not want to set an entire series or movie in the original one.--31dot 19:46, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, the 11th movie is, as I heard once, a remake/sequel/prequel. It's giving Star Trek a new beginning for this generation. Besides, I'm not sure how many people would understand that it takes place in the Prime universe and not in the alternate reality.-- ScottyJefferiesChekov, September 10, 2010
