I'll get into details is necessary, but it appears that I had an account but mistakenly created a new account. Can the two accounts be merged?--Redknight 13:41, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
- No, merging accounts is not possible. What you can (and perhaps should, to avoid "sockpuppet" accusations down the line) do, however, is to use your old account to redirect your old user page to your new user page, and then use the new account to acknowledge this on your new user page. That way, we know for sure that both accounts are controlled by the same person. (The same would also work the other way around, of course, if you plan to continue using your old account.) -- Cid Highwind 13:52, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
