Is it permissible to add the Klingon (tlhIngan Hol) translations to articles? For example, the Klingon for gagh is qagh, which could be added in a translation section at the end of the gagh article.

- If we did that, we'd open a hole can of worms and we could basically add every single word in the Klingon dictionary that has a counterpart article here at Memory Alpha, including stuff like water, phaser, moon, Earth etc. --Jörg 06:51, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Redux[]
Since the above discussion, translations have been added to several articles. See Special:Contributions/Regulation Bowling Alley (around 2009-03-22) for many of them. Unless someone can come up with a canon citation (which probably doesn't exist) within the next few days, those additions need to be removed. -- Cid Highwind 15:17, October 2, 2011 (UTC)
- I'll second that. I really don't see where in canon these would have come from. I'm guessing it's from people who use The Klingon Dictionary not realizing it is not canon. Some of them might even be yet other fan-based sources.--31dot 01:08, October 3, 2011 (UTC)
