the crew of the enterprise d have a real problem with the word phenomenon. phenomenON is singular, phenomenA is plural. Picard usually gets this right, but in one (non star trek) youtube video i just watched he uses phenomena as singular. learn some greek! data, of all people, makes this mistake on more than one occasion. Furthermore, data uses the word eminent instead of imminent - as in 'hull breach is eminent'. this tends to make me lose confidence in his android abilities. i know the series was over a long time ago but it's still kind of irritating.

- Is there a question here? The RD is to ask questions, not make statements. Anyway, a comment like yours cannot be added to an article because it is a nitpick.--31dot 11:01, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
I see. Well, I was just cruising by and didnt know the rules and felt like expressing my discomfort that Data hasn't mastered english grammar. I will accept the moniker of nit-picker.
