While trying to get rid of some old {{incite}}s, I've stumbled upon two regarding old ship designs apparently used on a bridge display once. The note on both Saladin class and Hermes class reads:

Intended to be merely background decoration, freeze frames and close examination have shown it likely (but not conclusively) that the images used were taken from the Joseph book with little or no modification. This was confirmed later by Rick Sternbach on a few occasions on's forums. The Saladin, Hermes, and Federation classes appear as part of the loop.

This note is tagged with an {{incite}} template in both cases. The third class article, Federation class, does not contain the note.

I'm not completely sure what exactly is being tagged here. Is it the fact that the third class ("Federation") was part of the loop? Is it the fact that there was a loop at all? Or is it the fact that those three names correspond to those three ship designs? Or something else altogether? Does someone think that these articles need to be renamed? What needs to be removed to get rid of the "incite"? -- Cid Highwind 20:00, January 8, 2012 (UTC)

I think the incite is referring to A. who considers it "likely (but not conclusively)" that they were taken from the Joseph book (preferably this should be replaced with a reference that they were or were not) and B. the Rick Sternbach comment (there should be a link to one of the threads where he confirmed this).–Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 01:43, February 4, 2012 (UTC)
