Has Memory Alpha (or Wikia in general) adopted some kind of policy preventing the use of external images on userpages? I ask only because I have a few things from my Photobucket account on mine and they are showing up as blue external text links instead of images. It's been this way for about four days now. Surveying the site, I found that no external images are showing up, not even the example of the signature icon that normally appears on the main Memory Alpha:Ten Forward page. My images not showing up on my userpage is not all that important; I just wanted to know if there's a reason for it. - Bridge 03:23, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

It's not a Memory Alpha thing, that much I can say... I'll alert our Wikia contact, maybe she has an answer. :) -- Cid Highwind 07:31, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
This has been disabled for a while now - see Forum:External image changes. -- Michael Warren | Talk 07:53, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I know of that discussion - but it seems as if "Photobucket" and our own site, just linked as an external image, would make good "exceptions" as described during that discussion. :) -- Cid Highwind 08:00, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi, looks like the sign button may be an old redirect that's been deleted. The others are due to the External Image Whitelist being broken. That bug has been assigned, and I've added Memory Alpha's problems to the report (actually, the sign button looks like a broken redirect, I've reported that too) -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 10:03, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
