So it looks like that extended version of "The Measure Of A Man" is really happening, and that there will be remastered versions of both the "original" and "extended" cuts on the S2 TNG Blu-ray. [1] The extended footage (with some new visual effects) will be cut into the episode, rather than being a "deleted scenes" package. Is there any precedent for this? The TMP 'Director's Edition', maybe? How will we cite the differences? - Aatrek 19:52, August 13, 2012 (UTC)
- If the additions are put into the episode, then they get covered just like anything else, since they made it to the screen. We do this with things like West and other things from the scenes added to the release of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country on video. Such articles (or additions to existing articles) should note that the information only appears in this extended version. 31dot (talk) 22:47, August 13, 2012 (UTC)
