I heard from one of my physics professors that in the TNG episode "All Good Things..", where in a future timeline Data is seen as the Lucasian professor at Cambridge, that Steven Hawking, who was the current Lucasian Professor at the time the episode was filmed, allowed Star Trek to film portions of the episode, specifically scenes of Data in his [Data's} office at Cambridge, using his [Hawking's] actual office at cambridge. This would make a certain amount of sense becasue Hawking was a fan of the show. However I have been unable to confirm or deny that this is the case by researching it myself. If anyone has any input on the matter please let me know so I can satisfy my curiosity. Links to where you got the information would be helpful for me to fully confirm the validity of the claim. Thank you. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.53.29.101 (talk).

I highly doubt the production went to Cambridge for location shooting; I certainly haven't read any information indicating that they did. It would have been a bit expensive for them to do. Perhaps they modeled the set on a real office, Hawking's or otherwise, but I have no information on that. 31dot (talk) 01:30, August 13, 2012 (UTC)
