I don't know if this has been asked before but, what will the borg do when they have assimilated everything and there is nothing but borg left? – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.152.176.195 (talk).

how did the borg start?

Well, I excpect they will assimilate everything from humans and animals to technology and materials. Once all that is done they will probably go to other solar systems. Honestly, I don't know.
