I'm sure that most of us are aware of the heavy use of black paper in the early seasons of TNG, which was plastered up on the rear bridge consoles to hide reflections from the set lighting. If you're not, here's a good screenshot example. Michael Okuda has said that they will "probably not" be removed in the HD remaster of the series ("No one hates those cards more than me", he says), so this may be a good time to deal with them in the wiki.
