I know that I am a relatively new user to MA, but the [[Beta 5 computer]] article has been the article of the "week" for over 2 weeks now. Personally, I'd love to see the front page of MA be a little more dynamic and ever-changing - how 'bout an update?

:That page now contains individual links to weekly templates. Some of them already exist, others do not. You can help by creating those templates that don't exist yet, change others so that we don't get the same "Did you know" next year, or check the facts that are present right now. I added some "rules of thumb" at the top of that page, which I think make sense. If we see this feature as a way of advertising ourselves ("''Hey, look what cool stuff you can learn by reading our articles!''"), we should, obviously, only use facts that really ''are'' present in one of our articles - and link that article from the respective DYK. Of course, that also means that info on those templates should adhere to our content guidelines just like any other article - if there isn't any source for a statement on the linked article, it should be removed. -- [[User:Cid Highwind|Cid Highwind]] 19:18, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

While the Main page itself is protected, the template for the "AotW" is not. After suggesting and eventually discussing an article on Memory Alpha:Article of the Week, you can move an article there yourself: Template:ArticleOfTheWeek -- Cid Highwind 15:00, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Did you know... that I just changed Template:DidYouKnow a little? :)
That page now contains individual links to weekly templates. Some of them already exist, others do not. You can help by creating those templates that don't exist yet, change others so that we don't get the same "Did you know" next year, or check the facts that are present right now. I added some "rules of thumb" at the top of that page, which I think make sense. If we see this feature as a way of advertising ourselves ("Hey, look what cool stuff you can learn by reading our articles!"), we should, obviously, only use facts that really are present in one of our articles - and link that article from the respective DYK. Of course, that also means that info on those templates should adhere to our content guidelines just like any other article - if there isn't any source for a statement on the linked article, it should be removed. -- Cid Highwind 19:18, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
