On a screencap of the console for Shuttle 01, seen over at Trek Core, there is a warning for the Threat Assessment System which states that this type of weapon may interfere with readings. Are antimatter missiles the same as torpedoes, or are they a weapon we have seen before, or are they a new weapon?Throwback (talk) 02:09, March 24, 2014 (UTC)
- I'd say we have to take the term at face value and add the info at antimatter missiles. -- Capricorn (talk) 16:03, March 25, 2014 (UTC)
Well the difference between torpedoes and these missles probably had to do with range and engine capabilities. Torpedoes only had warp "sustainer" engines(meaning if fired at warp they would stay in warp for a short time) while missles actually had warp engines for much long flight time and range. Warheads were probably very similar both using antimatter.
