Hi... I've pretty much exhausted my search into info on a creature I saw on a DS9 episode many years ago. I'll explain what I remember as best I can.... I don't think it was bad, I got the impression that it was omnipotent, it was not humanoid but instead was a big huge dark and misty sort of thing that didn't speak but rather used a type of telepathy. I believe it appeared to a regular cast woman but it was rare to have been seen. I hope you can help me find out about it. Thanks – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.52.193.214 (talk).

Knowing which episode it was would help- but looking at Telepathic species the only ones that appeared in DS9 were the Betazoids (Lwaxana Troi), various Vulcans, and the aforementioned Letheans, all of whom are humanoid. The only such species that didn't speak (originally) was the Cairn but they were from TNG (and also humanoid). 31dot (talk) 13:24, September 11, 2012 (UTC)

You're right 31, but thinking of a big huge and dark creature the Letheans would be my favorite. Yes, they spoke some words but Soto fought with Jadzia Dax in "The Sword of Kahless". Tom (talk) 13:28, September 11, 2012 (UTC)

Perhaps it is Maihar'du, though he isn't telepathic(and did give something to Kira for Zek), but he is big. 31dot (talk) 13:29, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
