I often have to look at MA through a 1024x768 + IE computer that I don't want to log in on. But also, every anonymous visitor, including potential editors and the people we write about who come by to see their pages are also not logged in, and 80% of them use IE. So here is what they get to see:

Putting aside how much I hate the in-content advertising for a moment, this is not an acceptable way for the site to appear, and the new skin has been online for almost a year. Maybe the core contributors and admins here don't see this because they are logged in, but it's there. --Bp 23:46, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

This certainly seems to be an issue with the unneeded ads. I would bring it up with wikia, I'm sure they'll be able to find out what's wrong and fix it. In the meantime, perhaps one of the smarter, tech-savvy people on here can come up with a code or something to hide the ads from everybody? It's not like they're necessary or wanted. As for the Main Page, I don't think there's anything we can do about that. I don't think Wikia will be willing to get rid of the ads on the Main Page, regardless of how stupid they make the pages look. --From Andoria with Love 00:04, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
