Fort Point in 1986
Point Fort was a military fortification, located at the Presidio, at the entrance of San Francisco Bay on Earth. Part of the Golden Gate Bridge was later built over it.
In 1986, while walking back from the Cetacean Institute to San Francisco, James T. Kirk and Spock passed near Fort Point. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home)
