Florida was a region in North America and a state in the United States of America on Earth.

In the 20th and 21st centuries Cape Canaveral, Florida, also known as Cape Kennedy, was the launch location of the space shuttles and most rockets under the direction of NASA and the US Air Force. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)

By late 2000, a cousin of Shannon O'Donnell lived in Florida. O'Donnell was on her way to Florida to get back on her feet when her car broke down in Portage Creek. (VOY: "11:59")

When Captain Jonathan Archer reprimanded Tucker for interfering with Vissian culture by educating the Cogenitor, the captain stated that if they had been "in Florida, or Singapore", he might have agreed with Tucker's actions. (ENT: "Cogenitor")

In 2153, great parts of Florida, Cuba, and Venezuela were devastated by the Xindi superweapon prototype, which killed seven million people, including Elizabeth Tucker. (ENT: "The Expanse")
