A floater was something available on Risa, that could be used to take in the sights. During their 2373 visit to the planet Jadzia Dax suggested to Worf that they go sign out a couple of floaters. Later Quark suggested taking some floaters up into the hills to go skinny dipping in the hot springs. (DS9: "Let He Who Is Without Sin...")
