Crewman Fisher was a member of the crew of the Enterprise NX-01 during their historic mission of exploration in the 22nd century.

In 2152, Fisher came down with a case of Rigelian fever during the crew's visit to Tessik Prime, necessitating the inoculation of the entire crew by Doctor Phlox with a vaccine containing millions of genetically-altered microbes. A month later, this inoculation would prove vital in Phlox's discovery that the apparently-dead body of Ensign Travis Mayweather was not, in fact, Mayweather, but rather an extremely sophisticated replication, due to the fact that the microbes in the corpse were all dead. It was later determined that this was due to the fact that the technology used to produce the corpse was incapable of replicating a living organism, and that Ensign Mayweather had, in fact, been abducted.
