The "First Gymnopédie" was a short musical piece for piano written on Earth. The piece was a particular favorite of Jean-Luc Picard, who listened to it as the USS Enterprise's auto-destruct was armed with less than twenty minutes to detonation. (TNG: "Where Silence Has Lease")
The piece was composed by Erik Satie in the 19th century.
