Fionnula Flanagan played the role of Enina Tandro in DS9: "Dax". She later appeared as Dr. Juliana O'Donnell Soong Tainer in TNG: "Inheritance" and as Vulcan Ambassador V'Lar in ENT: "Fallen Hero".

Flanagan was born in 1941 in Dublin, Ireland, and trained at Dublin's Abbey Theatre. Her most notable work is the tour de force James Joyce's Women, in which she played six different roles. Film audiences may also remember her appearance as the housekeeper Mrs. Mills in the 2001 thriller The Others.
