Memory Alpha

Just curios: how can somebody change our logo? Hack? Somebody informed a developer? --Memory 18:54, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

upload and save over the original I would imagine. --Alan del Beccio 19:03, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

It was a regular part of the image database? O_o Then it should be protected... --Memory 19:13, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

This image is the image on the Main Page, so yes. To my knowledge, protecting the image page only protects someone from changing the text on it, not from uploading new images over what is currently there. --Alan del Beccio 19:24, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

2009 Holiday

Time for the holiday logo? --OuroborosCobra talk 16:38, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Yes. - Archduk3:talk 16:39, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Holiday 2010

.. is over? --bp 03:06, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Why do we even do this? It's not like the entire Star Trek community celebrates Christmas... — Morder (talk) 03:24, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

When that was first created there was a pretty nice community of about a dozen people that hung out on the IRC channel regularly. It started there and was supposed to be fun or festive, but that's gone now and it does seem like a chore. You're right, there is no reason to do it. Anyway, you deleted the wrong one, the holiday version you left has the separated 'm' and 'a'. I think I might be the only person using monobook, so prolly doesn't matter. --bp 03:37, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Not sure if I'm from as far back as that fun IRC bunch, but I think I was part of that group. I don't celebrate Christmas, I'm Jewish, but its still festive time since I live in the real world, and still festive and fun to have it here. The fact that not everyone is Christian isn't really a big deal, the thing isn't filled with crosses or baby Jesus. --OuroborosCobra talk 04:25, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Reference source SVG for easier maintenence

The page is protected, I propose changing content to:

A rendering of File:Memory Alpha.svg used in the monobook skin. Any changes should be made there.
