(written from a Production point of view)
RAFM Miniatures and Games, originally located in Paris, Ontario, is a Canadian gaming company based in Brantford, Ontario that was founded in 1977, that produced Star Trek starship miniatures and gaming materials from 1985 to 1988, under license from FASA. These miniatures were also retailed under the FASA brand, which was not that surprising as RAFM was specifically commissioned by FASA to produce these items for their own Star Trek: The Role Playing Game. For FASA, RAFM was the successor of Ral Partha Enterprises, FASA's previous game materials producer, and for whose miniatures RAFM had actually already been the Canadian distributor.
The company was also the Canadian distributor of miniatures by Citadel Miniatures, FASA's UK sub-licensee for its Star Trek game, and part of British game company Games Workshop PLC who marketed the FASA Star Trek game in that country.
