Transporter room at Old City Station
The Old City Station was a Starfleet facility, once described as "the worst duty station in town" and "the hind end of space."
Commander Uhura was assigned to its transporter room, along with "Mr. Adventure", in 2285. At one point during her assignment at the facility, Uhura illegally beamed McCoy, Kirk, and Sulu from the Station to the USS Enterprise. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)
Although only the interior of Old City Station appears in the film, the facility's exterior can be seen in the comic book adaptation of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
