Fer'at was a Vulcan psychiatric analyst stationed at the Vulcan Compound on Earth.

In 2153, he posed as a pathologist checking Jonathan Archer for pyritic radiation exposure in an attempt to determine Archer's mental stability, as the Vulcans placed very little credence in Archer's claim to have talked to the Suliban Cabal's master from the future.

While he was performing the examinations however, Phlox scanned the Vulcan database and found Fer'at's actual specialty. Uncovering his role, he asked him to get out of the sickbay. (ENT: "The Expanse")
