Farius Prime in 2374

Farius Prime is a neutral world inhabited by the Farians. It is not particularly distant from station Deep Space Nine, and freighters frequently travel between the station and the Galador system. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part I")

Farius Prime was also the headquarters of a large segment of the Orion Syndicate criminal organization. In 2374, Miles O'Brien was sent undercover by Starfleet Intelligence to the planet to infiltrate the organization and build a case against some of its members. Many Farians were also members of the Syndicate. Such individuals included Raimus, Flith and Thaddeo Bokar. (DS9: "Honor Among Thieves"; "Prodigal Daughter")
