(written from a Production point of view)

Fabbri Publishing (US) was the American arm of the UK's GE Fabbri Publishing. This subsidiary, specifically founded to this end, published Star Trek: The Magazine (1998-2003) on behalf of end copyright holder Midsummer Books Ltd. for distribution in the US and Canada – thereby fulfilling Fabbri's contractual obligations for worldwide distribution to the licensors, as the UK source publication Star Trek Fact Files had been sold everywhere but Canada and the US. To oversee the editorial chores for the American publication, Fabbri regularly sent two key Fact Files staffers, Ben Robinson and Trisha Palmer in particular, from the UK to the USA on extended assignments, the only two British Fabbri staffers to be sent to the USA for the Magazine publication.

It is presumed that the US branch immediately folded upon the publication cessation of the magazine in 2003, as no other publication efforts by the company are known to exist. While the subsidiary was in operation, it held offices on 419 N. Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, California (editorial bureau) and on 10 Bay Street, Westport, Connecticut (administrative bureau) during that period in time, but has never operated its own website. (Magazine colophons) The editorial bureau was a small rented office space, located three blocks from the Paramount Pictures lot, serving as the base of operation for the two UK staffers to conduct their bussiness out off when in the USA.
