In the mirror universe, Ezri Tigan was an unjoined Trill mercenary who along with Brunt frequently worked for the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. Ezri had a very close relationship with Intendant Kira, and in 2375 was selected by her to cross over into 'our' universe on a mission to blackmail Quark and Rom into stealing a Klingon cloaking device and smuggling it into the mirror universe. This mission was successful, however the cloaking device was subsequently sabotaged by Rom, providing the Terran rebels with an opportunity to force the surrender of Regent Worf. Following the death of Brunt at the hands of Intendant Kira, Ezri chose to betray Kira and escaped along with the Ferengis to the Terran occupied Terok Nor, where she remained to join the Terran Rebellion.
