Ethan H. Calk was the co-writer of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "Visionary" and "Children of Time".

In 2006, Calk provided additional story elements to the fan production Star Trek: New Voyages, episode "To Serve All My Days" along Jack Treviño and D.C. Fontana. The following year, he co-authored the fan film Star Trek: Of Gods and Men, for which he also worked as associate producer and script supervisor.
