The Epsilon IX sector, or the Epsilon Sector, was the location of the Epsilon Pulsar Cluster.
The USS Enterprise-D was assigned to perform an astronomical survey of the Epsilon Pulsar Cluster shortly after stardate 42779. (TNG: "Samaritan Snare")
According to Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 141), this may have been the location of the Epsilon IX station from Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
