Empire Interactive was a UK-based video game publisher and developer. Founded in 1988, they published video games throughout the European market. A number of Star Trek video games were re-released by them under the Xplosiv budget label, with a license from Activision. They also released the Star Trek Collection compilation set. After struggling for a number of years the company closed its doors in 2009.
