The following are unnamed Alpha and Beta Quadrant star systems.

2466 PM solar system

This uncharted solar system, located at 2466 PM, contained a planet where the Metrons forced Kirk to fight a Gorn captain. (TOS: "Arena")

Akaali system

Located seventy-eight light years from Earth, this inhabited system was in the general vicinity of a cluster of three neutron stars and a J'ral class supernova remnant. The Akaali homeworld was located in this system. In 2151, Enterprise NX-01 defeated a Malurian vesssel in this system. (ENT: "Civilization")

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 54, 60) and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Beta Quadrant: Local Space Extract"), the Akaali (Omega Sagittarii) system was located in the Beta Quadrant. The primary was a G-class star.

Amargosa system

This system accompanied the star Amargosa and included the Amargosa observatory, a space-based Federation facility. In 2371 the facility was attacked by Romulans, sparking concern of a new Romulan threat in the sector. At the time the Enterprise detected no ships in the system, though a cloaked Klingon ship was present. Shortly thereafter, a trilithium weapon launched into Amargosa by the rogue scientist Tolian Soran triggered the star to collapse, producing a level twelve shock wave expected to destroy everything in the system. (Star Trek Generations)

Dialogue from the movie suggested it was in the same sector as the Veridian system.

Argolis Cluster system

This system within the Argolis Cluster was charted by the USS Enterprise-D in 2368. During the mission, the Enterprise picked up a transmission from a crashed Borg scout ship on a small moon orbiting the fourth planet. The Federation starship rescued the drone Hugh from the wreckage. (TNG: "I Borg")

Arkaria system

This system contained the inhabited planet Arkaria.

In her plans to steal the trilithium resin from the USS Enterprise-D in 2369, Kelsey, the leader of a group of mercenaries, had arranged a get-away ship which would get her people and the trilithium resin out of the system. Some time later, as the ship attempted to leave the system, it was destroyed by the triithium resin which had become destabilized. (TNG: "Starship Mine")

Arret system

This Alpha Quadrant system was located hundreds of light years past the limits of Federation exploration in 2268. That same year, the USS Enterprise was directed to the planet Arret in this system by the thought energy of Sargon. (TOS: "Return to Tomorrow")

Arret (negative) system

This reverse negative antimatter universe star system was in the same galactic position as the Sol system in the forward positive matter universe. The inhabited planet Arret was located in this system. In the mid-23rd century, Karl Four pointed out the location of his home system on a galactic map to Robert April, James T. Kirk, and Spock. (TAS: "The Counter-Clock Incident")

Ba'ku system

This Alpha Quadrant system was located in the Briar Patch, a region of space in Sector 441. The system had one class M planet – Ba'ku – which was colonized by the Ba'ku. According to Ru'afo, the injector assembly, if fired at the planet Ba'ku, would leave all life in the system dead or dying in six hours. This system was located in Federation space. (Star Trek: Insurrection)

Ba'ku home system

This system was the home system of a group of settlers who founded a colony on the Ba'ku planet in 2066. This system's civilization had technology which could destroy all life and the settlers feared their species was on the verge of self-annihilation. (Star Trek: Insurrection)

Badlands solar system

This planetary solar system was located in the Badlands. The system had at least one star.

In 2371, a Starfleet runabout piloted by Kira Nerys pursued a Maquis courier ship into this system. The Maquis ship crash landed on a moon of a gas giant in this system. (DS9: "Heart of Stone")

Barzan system

Barzan II

Barzan wormhole

This Alpha Quadrant system was home to the Barzan species, who inhabited the system's second planet, Barzan II. The system was also home to multiple moons, of which Amma and Tolpra were said to be the "most beautiful". (DIS: "Die Trying")

For a time, the system was a fixed endpoint for the Barzan wormhole until 2373, when it was accidentally destabilized by Dr. Arridor and Kol. (TNG: "The Price"; VOY: "False Profits").

Battle Group Omega rendezvous

Battle Group Omega rendezvous point

This system was located in Sector 1045. In 2379, Star Fleet Battle Group Omega planned to rendezvous in this system to combat the Scimitar, though ultimately the Scimitar was destroyed by the USS Enterprise-E in the Bassen Rift. (Star Trek Nemesis)

Binary system

Enterprise in a binary star system

This binary star system was explored by Enterprise NX-01 in September 2152. Captain Jonathan Archer and Commander Tucker prepared Shuttlepod 1 to visit the surface of an uninhabited planet but were forced to leave when a neutronic wavefront approached. (ENT: "The Catwalk")

Binary system (2368)

This binary system was the "most unusual thing" in a routine mapping of a sector by the USS Enterprise-D in 2368. (TNG: "Violations")

This system was only mentioned in dialogue.

Binary system at edge of Federation space

Just before the Federation-Klingon War of 2256, this system was at the most remote borders of Federation space, though still part of its territory. According to the Klingon Empire however, it was too close to Klingon territory. Around its two suns, an accretion disk containing ice, dust, and gasses collided to form planets future generations would call home. It was described as "beautiful". It was located six light years away from Gamma Hydra and three from Eagle-12, which were both Federation positions.

However, the disk also contained high levels of radiation, brisk temperatures of −260 degrees Celsius, and the binaries were kicking off serious QEs up and down the spectrum.

It hosted an Starfleet interstellar relay, which in 2256 was found destroyed. The USS Shenzhou was ordered to investigate, and found the Beacon of Kahless at the heart of a Klingon trap. The resulting battle, known as the Battle of the Binary Stars, set off the Federation-Klingon War of 2256. (DIS: "The Vulcan Hello")

Binary system inside a Tyken's Rift

This uncharted star system was a binary star system that was located within a Tyken's Rift.

In 2367, a mysterious alien became trapped in the rift and with the help of the USS Enterprise-D managed to escaped. The stars of this system were described by Deanna Troi as being "twins". (TNG: "Night Terrors")

Bre'el IV system

This system contained the inhabited planet Bre'el IV. In 2366, a large celestial object passed at near right angles to the plane of this system, resulting in Bre'el IV's moon entering into a deteriorating orbit. The moon was restored to its place by Q. (TNG: "Deja Q")

The object was not identified. Q theorized that it was a black hole.

According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"; "United Federation of Planets III") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Bre'el system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The primary was an M-class star.

Bryma system

This system contained the inhabited Cardassian planet Bryma and its colony, the Bryma Colony. In the early 2370s, this system was in the Demilitarized Zone.

In 2370, before the Maquis's failed attack on Bryma, Federation runabouts from Deep Space 9 mined the system's Oort cloud with sensor probes. These well-hidden probes detected the Maquis ships as they entered the system and gave the runabouts an advantage for the upcoming battle. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part II")

Cold Station 12 system

Cold Station 12

This system contained a large asteroid field. One asteroid was the location of Cold Station 12, a facility operated by the Interspecies Medical Exchange. During the Augment Crisis in 2154, this asteroid field was the site of a battle between Enterprise NX-01 and a Klingon Bird-of-Prey hijacked by Arik Soong's Augments. (ENT: "Cold Station 12")

Cytherian homeworld system

Cytherian homeworld

This system, identified by Data as a planetary cluster, was located 30,000 light years from the Argus Array. Located near the galactic center, the system contained the homeworld of the Cytherians. In 2367, this system was visited by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "The Nth Degree")

Delta Theta III system

This star system contained the inhabited planet Delta Theta III, orbiting the system's sole star.

In the 23rd century, this system was explored by a scouting mission, which discovered possible evidence of the native civilization on Delta Theta III. First contact with the natives was made by a contact team from the USS Enterprise in 2270. After learning that the world was protected by an alien intelligence, the planet was quarantined. (TAS: "Bem")

Ekos and Zeon system

This star system was home to two planets inhabited by humanoids. Ekos, home of the Ekosians, occupied an orbit inward from its' sister planet, Zeon, home to the Zeons.

Following the elimination of the Nazi regime on Ekos, along with the predicted cooperation with their Zeon neighbors, Spock recommended that "With the union of [these] two cultures, this system would make a fine addition to the Federation." (TOS: "Patterns of Force")

According to StarTrek.com, the system was named M34 Alpha; however, according to Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 513), the system was named M43 Alpha. [1]

Epsilon 119 system

This system contained the star Epsilon 119.

In 2370, Professor Gideon Seyetik, a famed Federation terraformer, believed that by re-igniting Epsilon 119 that he would be "brining new life" to this system. (DS9: "Second Sight")

Excalbia's solar system

This solar system contained the planet Excalbia. When the crew of the USS Enterprise was about to bear witness to the conflict the Excalbians set up to demonstrate the differences between "good" and "evil", their representative Yarnek announced: "We welcome the vessel Enterprise to our solar system and to our spectacle." (TOS: "The Savage Curtain")

Exo III system

Exo III was located in a system of which the sun had been fading for half a million years as of the 23rd century. (TOS: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?")

Fifty systems

These fifty systems had planets which were in the same predicament as Kwejian in 3189.

The pre-warp civilizations on these planets were contacted by the Emerald Chain. The Chain saw something they wanted and, in exchange, they would help them in solving problems. This aid came with strings attached, keeping the planets indebted to the Chain. Many, if not all, of them were bound to collapse.

These systems were being tracked by the Federation. (DIS: "The Sanctuary")

Gosis' species star system

Gosis' species system was a system with only one habitable planet.

When Enterprise NX-01 visited his planet in 2152, Temec reasoned that the Humans must have come from an alien system, since "none of the other planets are capable of supporting life." (ENT: "The Communicator")

Hekaras II system

This system, located near the Hekaras Corridor in the Hekaras sector, was home to the inhabited planet Hekaras II.

In 2370, during its search for the missing medical transport Fleming, the USS Enterprise-D asked the Hekaran government if the ship had recently passed through their system. The answer was negative with the government adding that the only ship to pass through their system in the past week being a Ferengi trader. (TNG: "Force of Nature")

Iconian influenced systems

Three Beta Quadrant systems, located in or near the Romulan Neutral Zone and in the same sector, demonstrated similar cultural traits, indicating they were influenced by the Iconians. (TNG: "Contagion")

J'naii system

This inhabited star system was where J'naii, the homeworld of the J'naii, was located. It also had a null space pocket, a fact which was only discovered in 2368. (TNG: "The Outcast")

Kavis Alpha sector binary system

This unnamed binary system consisted of a neutron star, a red giant, and Kavis Alpha IV. The neutron star went through a cycle of sucking matter from the nearby red giant, then explosively expelling the matter into space, every 196 years.

In 2366, Doctor Paul Stubbs recorded this historic event, from the Enterprise-D, using a customized probe known as "The Egg." (TNG: "Evolution")

Lazarus' planet system

This star system was visited by the USS Enterprise in 2267. As the starship was completing its survey of an iron-silica planet, the whole system experienced a disruption of its magnetic field. (TOS: "The Alternative Factor")

Malcor III system

This star system, containing the inhabited planet Malcor III, was a single star system with six planets. The nearest system was the Garth system and Earth was over two thousand light years away. (TNG: "First Contact")

A system map of this system was seen in Mirasta Yale's science lab.

Marva IV's system

This star system contained the inhabited planet Marva IV. It was located in the Demilitarized Zone and near to the Badlands.

In 2373, after the USS Defiant traced Michael Eddington's transporter signal to a Maquis raider, Kira Nerys reported to Benjamin Sisko that the ship was breaking orbit over Marva IV and heading out of the system. (DS9: "For the Uniform")

Mixtus system

Mixtus III and its seven moons

This unnamed system contained the inhabited planets Mixtus II and Mixtus III, and was home to the Mixtus inhabitants. (LD: "Cupid's Errant Arrow")

New Berlin Colony system

This system was administered by the Federation New Berlin Colony. It was in the same sector as the Ohniaka system and the MS system.

In 2369, the colony sent out a distress call fearing a Borg incursion, while all that had happened was that a Ferengi trading ship had entered their system. (TNG: "Descent")

This star system was only mentioned in dialogue.

Quantum fissure system

This system was, in 2370, the site of a quantum fissure event.

In one of the quantum realities experienced by Worf during this event, Data scanned this system for temporal anomalies in this system with a negative result. (TNG: "Parallels")

Panora's system

This system contained the planet Panora, which was, in the late 24th century, home to a Cardassian colony. Located in the Demilitarized Zone from 2370 to 73, this system had constant ion storms, which an attacker could take advantage of for a surprise attack. (DS9: "For the Uniform")

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), this system was named Panora. The primary of this system was a F-class star.

Paxan system

This unnamed system was located in a pocket of the Ngame Nebula. It contained a T-Tauri type star and a single class M planet which was the Paxan homeworld. The Enterprise-D went through this system to investigate it and, running into the Paxans, agreed to erase knowledge of the area from their computer and themselves. Believing they passed through an unstable wormhole, they decided to continue on and sent Starfleet a hazard advisory about the wormhole. (TNG: "Clues")

Pyris VII system

This unnamed system in the Alpha Quadrant contained the plant Pyris VII. Before the USS Enterprise visited Pyris VII in 2267, several mapping expeditions had been sent by the Federation to this system. These expeditions did not find lifeforms on the seventh planet. (TOS: "Catspaw")

This system's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of the planet Pyris VII as seen in the star chart appearing in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Rock creature planet system

This uncharted system was visited by the USS Enterprise in 2269. It was a binary star system with a lone Class M planet, an unique find. (TAS: "Mudd's Passion")

Romulan-held system

This system, uncharted according to Starfleet, had several planets including one that was Minshara class. The system turned out to be claimed and defended by the Romulan Star Empire, which did not tolerate others entering it. (ENT: "Minefield")

The reference book Star Trek: Federation - The First 150 Years identified the system as the Unroth system.

Romulan Neutral Zone solar systems

In 2365, the USS Yamato eluded a Romulan cruiser by playing hide and seek in these solar systems located in the Romulan Neutral Zone. (TNG: "Contagion")

Sector 1156 system

This system in Sector 1156 consisted of a primary and four planets.

In 2370, the USS Enterprise-D discovered the D'Arsay archive in this system. (TNG: "Masks")

Seven systems

In these seven systems, Plix Tixiplik was wanted for illegal weapon sales. (DS9: "Sanctuary")

Starbase 234 system

This inhabited system, located in the Beta Quadrant, had at least one planet, which was home to Starbase 234.

In 2368, Picard's blockade fleet assembled in this system. Later, after clearing the system, the fleet went to warp. (TNG: "Redemption II")

This system's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of Starbase 234 as seen in the star charts appearing in the Star Trek: Discovery episode "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" and in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".

Star systems visited by Ullians

These seven star systems, home to ten planets, were visited by the Ullian telepathic historians in the 2360s. They were collecting a library of memories from the inhabitants. (TNG: "Violations")

Suliban hiding system

The stars of the system

This binary star system was located two and a half light years from Paraagan II. It contained at least two planets, and at least two moons.

In 2152, a Suliban stealth cruiser hid on the inner moon of the second planet orbiting the smaller star in the system. Enterprise NX-01 disabled the Suliban cruiser in this system and stole its data disks to prove it wasn't responsible for the destruction of the Paraagan mining colony. (ENT: "Shockwave")

Systems attacked by Borg

These three systems were in sensor range of the USS Enterprise-D after the ship had exited a transwarp conduit in 2369. The starship scanned the systems, discovering the evidence of at least two advanced civilizations in those systems. However, the lack of life signs and indications of plasma weapons being fire suggested to the crew that the Borg had been active in those systems. (TNG: "Descent")

System with a Kuiper belt

In 2375, Odo and a defective Weyoun clone managed to evade capture by Jem'Hadar by hiding in this system containing a Kuiper belt. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")

T-Tauri systems near wormholes

These thirty-nine T-Tauri systems were located near small and unstable wormholes. The first of these wormholes was mapped in the 23rd century. (TNG: "Clues")

Taurus II system

This inhabited planetary system was located in the Murasaki 312 quasar, in the Alpha Quadrant. It was one of four systems in the same sector as the quasar, and was three light days away from Makus III.

It had one planet capable of supporting life, known as Taurus II. This system was unexplored by the Federation as of 2267, when the USS Enterprise rescued the crew of one of its shuttles. (TOS: "The Galileo Seven")

This system's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of Murasaki 312 as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Wounded".

Terellian freighter-crash planet system

This system was a single star system with a sole class M planet. It was in the same sector as the Iyaaran homeworld. (TNG: "Liaisons")

Terra Nova system

The system of Terra Nova

A display graphic demonstrated Terra Nova to be part of a solar system containing several other planets. (ENT: "Terra Nova")

Tholian system

This system was home to the xenophobic Tholians. When Enterprise NX-01 encountered a Tholian vessel in 2152, T'Pol remarked that it was unusual for Tholians to travel that far from their system. (ENT: "Future Tense")

The Tholian homeworld, presumably located in this system, might be called Tholia.

Trinary star system

A trinary system

This unidentified trinary star system was encountered by the Enterprise NX-01 in 2152. It contained a black hole. (ENT: "Singularity")

War games simulation system

In a holographically-simulated tactical scenario played out on USS Voyager in 2371, a red giant system 3.7 light years away, with eight planets, none of them M class, played a minor role. (VOY: "Learning Curve")

The simulation was not explicitly said to be set in the Alpha or Beta quadrant, however the inclusion of Ferengi and Romulan vessels makes this probable.

Xindi-Arboreal colony system

This system, which contained at least one planet and one moon was visited by Enterprise in 2153. After Enterprise entered the system, it positioned itself behind the far side of the system's moon in order to keep the out of view of the Xindi-Arboreal colony they were observing. (ENT: "The Shipment")

Xindus solar system

The remains of Xindus

This system was located in the Delphic Expanse. It contained a yellow-orange star and a single planet, Xindus, which was destroyed in the 2030s and left behind an asteroid field nearly eighty million kilometers long. The system was abandoned by the time Enterprise NX-01 visited it in 2153. (ENT: "The Xindi")

Yonada system

In 2268, the USS Enterprise discovered the asteroid ship Yonada in this solar system. (TOS: "For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky")

Yonada Prime system

The Yonada Prime system was a planetary system in Sector 2158, a region of space in the Beta Quadrant. The system consisted of a primary and three planets, including Yonada Prime. It was located near the Romulan Neutral Zone. (TNG: "Gambit, Part I", "Gambit, Part II")

This system's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of neighboring systems, such as the Calder system and the Draken system, as seen in the star charts appearing in the Star Trek: Discovery episode "The War Without, The War Within" and the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".

Information on this system was from an okudagram seen on the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D. This graphic was put up for auction in 2018. [2]

Zalkonian star system

The Zalkonian homeworld Zalkon was located in this star system. This system was within Sector 9569.

In 2366, the USS Enterprise-D was on a course to this system, ferrying the Zalkonian "John Doe" to his home, when they were intercepted by a Zalkonian warship commanded by Sunad. (TNG: "Transfigurations")

This star system was only mentioned in dialogue.

According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets II") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", pp. 18-19; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385”), there was a star system named Zalkon, to which this might be the same system as this one, in the Beta Quadrant. The system's primary was a G-class star.

Zeta Gelis star cluster star system

This unknown star system in the Zeta Gelis star cluster was charted by the USS Enterprise-D in 2366. During its mission, the Enterprise-D discovered a Zalkonian escape pod on the surface of one of the system's planets. (TNG: "Transfigurations")
