The "elixir of endurance" was an energy drink created by Neelix to sustain the senior officers of the USS Voyager in 2374 of an alternate timeline.

It was composed of Talaxian spices, water, and puréed ration cubes, making it a good source of amino acids and carbohydrates. Although the taste was unpalatable – as Seven of Nine was quick to point out – this was irrelevant as it contained the requisite nutrients to keep the crew healthy. (VOY: "Year of Hell, Part II")
