The Elected One was the ruler of the Parliament of Angel I. She oversaw the six elected Mistresses who made up the Parliament. In 2364, Beata was the Elected One, and as such negotiated with the crew of USS Enterprise-D about the fate of the stranded crew of the freighter Odin. (TNG: "Angel One")
